identity theft.

How does it feel to know that someone is out there pretending to be you? These people mainly use other people's personal information for financial gain and at the end leaving the real person with thousands of headaches to deal with. I was shocked when I decided to google my name and see what is out there in my name. I was surprised to see people with my exact name but it was nice knowing you share such personal information with someone you do not even know. So I am now telling everybody to google their names once in a while, you could be surprised. Internet has made ourlives so much easier that we can practically get in touch with people all over the world in a matter of seconds. Be careful how you exchange personal information in the computer because that could be your worst nightmare. Guide your identity because it's all yours especially in this new global village we live in.

Russian cold days.
Related to country: Russia

AS someone who has lived in both cold and hot weather seasons, I sometimes wonder which makes your skin tougher. I always go back and forth, because sometimes it feels like cold weather is the clear winner but when chicago summer comes with all her humidity, I wonder.
Russia is under such a terrible cold winter season this year. I was listening to NPR news where an elderly woman was describing her ordeals with this terrible season. People died because they couldn't keep warm and machines from ATM to water pipes are malfunctioning. I feel for them and I hope they stay safe and warm.

let's talk about Health.

Hey, guys let's talk about Health because a Healthy person is a wealthy person in my opinion. I am motivated to become a Health professional because of the things I have seen living in NIgeria. Too many people die everyday from things like malaria, pheumonia and appendicitis. Some of these diseases are preventable by immunization and others like HIV can be prevented if people are properly equiped with the right health education they need. I have two children and both were born in two different countries. My daughter Christabel was born in Aba, Nigeria and my son, Harold was born in Chicago, USA. Different things happened to them when they were born. My girl got most of her immunizations late because the hospitals did not have them on time. A lot could have happened between the times. My son immediately got his shots and was given head to toe examination before he left the hospital. This examinations and results were mandatory and are reported to the government for statistical purposes. This examination allows early detection and treatment of any birth defects.
There is so much to be done all over the world to reduce the incidents of disease. Above all, be aware that a lot depends on you-Health Official.

job interviews
Related to country: United States

I always lose sleep over job interviews regardless of how prepared I am. Just watching and listening to Judge Alito's job interview for the Supreme Court of USA gives me the cold. It is scarely and nerve racking watching him and I do not blame his wife for breaking down when she colud not take it any more. I wonder how he feels inside knowing that the whole country is watching him go through this job interview. This interview is even different because those interviewing him knows all about him and are likely to spring some surprise news. I can't imagine a prospective employeer knowing all that is to know about me. I guess this is the job for the brave at heart. The whole process has taught me that if you want to aim high, then, choose wisely because the things you say and do today might come back to bite you in the ... tomorrow.
